Featured Episode: Ice Age Trail – Gift of the Glaciers
The Ice Age Trail is a thousand mile footpath that winds throughout the state of Wisconsin and is only in Wisconsin. It follows the path of the glaciers that moved into the area twelve thousand years ago and left behind some incredible landscape. In this episode we focus on four areas in the northwest where the trail and rock formations will leave you in awe. St. Croix Falls, Rusk County, Rice Lake and Chippewa County. You’ll learn more about the trail, which has also been designated a National Park and about the hundreds of volunteers who keep the trail beautiful through the Ice Age Trail Alliance. You’ll also learn more about what’s available for you to see and do in these four areas.
